Corporate SPACE CAMP
Overview

Corporate SPACE CAMP offers a unique and dynamic atmosphere by combining interactive team activities, simulated astronaut training, and space shuttle missions. You don't just hear about what an astronaut does, you'll do what an astronaut does! Train like an astronaut on simulators patterned after those actually used by NASA. Team members may experience what it's like to walk on the moon in the 1/6th Gravity Chair. You will be strapped into the Five Degrees of Freedom chair, simulating the frictionless environment of space. You will also feel what it's like to tumble in a spacecraft on the Multi-Axis Trainer.

Each program includes orientations designed to introduce the space transportation system, mission responsibilities, timelines and objectives. You and your teammates will engage in an intense, realistic simulated shuttle mission. Will you be part of the orbiter crew as Commander, Pilot, or a Mission Specialist, in mission control helping direct and communicate from earth, or already living in space on the space station?

The countdown begins...feeling a little nervous? During the Space Mission, your team will put their training and competencies to the test. Personalities will come alive as your team launches a space shuttle, monitors its orbit, completes a space walk, and lands safely on earth.

Recommended single team size is 12 to 18 participants. Multiple teams welcome.
